Since 2002, CoCo has worked closely with local, state, and federal public safety agencies to solve difficult challenges with networking and radio interoperability and is government tested and certified. Our technology has been used by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and TSA.
- Solutions are based on FIPS 140-2 validated security algorithms
- CoCo® Protocol is patented (U.S. Pat. 7,624,165)
- Passed Defense Interoperability Command Exercise (DICE) at the DoD Joint Interoperability Test Command ( JITC) in 2006 and 2007
- GSA and SEWP schedule availability
Networks without Boundaries
CoCo helps your networks communicate in the ways people do: directly, confidentially, and independently, even in the most difficult environments.
- Radio Interoperability: CoCo’s Land Mobile Radio (LMR) interoperability solution solves customers’ problems with a simple, flexible, secure, affordable, network-based approach
- Self Forming Networks: CoCo Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET) can securely deploy anywhere, anytime to meet the most challenging mobile communication needs
- Outdoor Network Extensions: Extend the boundaries of your network using CoCo’s outdoor and tactical mesh routers to stay connected everywhere
- Video Surveillance: CoCo’s video surveillance solution works with any IP camera to share video to CoCo-enabled PCs, phones, and rugged handheld devices
- CoCo Inside: CoCo® Node is OEM ready and runs on Windows Mobile, Windows XP, and Debian Linux for use in customer OEM devices, enabling you to build your own custom solutions
Radio Interoperability
- Radio interoperability products bridge radio traffic onto networks, as VoIP does for phones
- Different and incompatible radios can be bridged by using the network-based voice
- PC’s, laptops, PDA’s, and phones can also communicate with all radios on the CoCo network
- End users can easily control talk group creation across different radio systems from any PC
- Tactical and rack-mounted multi-radio gateways available
- Extends and enhances any existing land mobile radio network, even P25-based networks, by providing an inexpensive and standards-based approaches to voice interoperability
CoCo differentiators:
- Ease of Use – Solutions can be deployed in minutes and are simple to learn and set up
- Ease of Implementation - Security and networking capabilities are already built in
- Low Cost - Priced lower than competitors for purchase, implementation, and ongoing use
- Flexibility - Interoperability client installs on computers, PDAs, and smartphones
- P25 upgrade path for all devices, desktops as well as legacy radios
Video Surveillance
- CoCo’s core networking product – CoCo Node – provides secure wireless communications capabilities ideally suited for campus- and municipal-area video surveillance solutions
- Network supports both mesh and mobile mesh operations to extend coverage area without wires and also for mobile operations – can relay video from cars, first responders, etc.
CoCo differentiators:
- Save Time - Cameras can be accessed directly, instead of wasting bandwidth by relaying through central infrastructure; cuts down on bottlenecking at incident locations
- Ease of Use - Self-configuring capabilities reduce needs for network administration and configuration
- Reduce Deployment Cost - Extend the life of legacy surveillance systems by integrating existing CCTV cameras and extend them across the mesh
- Greater Control - Security features enable network operator to control access to specific or groups of cameras
Networking
- CoCo Node creates instant, secure urban-area and in-building networks
- PDA-based networking and voice, video, and data applications create secure voice networks that s eamlessly integrate with CoCo’s radio interoperability solutions
- CoCo Node provides secure wireless communications capabilities ideally suited for campus- and municipal-area networks
- Network supports both mesh and mobile mesh operations to extend coverage area without wires and also for mobile operations
- Node enabled devices can hand off across WiFi, cellular, and wired connections
CoCo differentiators:
- Seamless Fail-Over Routing - Allows you to maintain a consistent internet presence when transitioning from one transport to another to maintain a single IP address
- Greater Control – Certificate-based security capabilities are already built in at the link and end-to-end levels
- Ease of Use - Self-configuring capabilities reduce the need for network administration and configuration
- Reduce Deployment Cost - Extend the life of legacy devices by installing CoCo Node using an easy, straightforward install process
