CoCo Communications Corp. (CoCo) builds tactical communication solutions that enable people in mobile and fixed environments to share information securely and reliably. CoCo is a software company that focuses on developing and deploying best-of-breed Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking (MANET) solutions and distributed tactical communication applications, such as radio interoperability conferencing and distributed chat. 

Next Generation Networking Today

Typical networks require the user to reach out to the network, and if the user is too far away or doesn't have the right type of device, they won't be able to communicate. CoCo takes a new approach: What if we designed a network that started with the individual instead of the network? What if that user could choose any device on any network? A single user with CoCo Node can go out and their CoCo powered device will find other CoCo devices to form a network.

As CoCo developed a solution to today's communication challenges, it became apparent that the technology we created for radio interoperability also worked to solve critical tactical networking issues, by forming a next generation Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) that simultaneously addresses security, interoperability, and network capacity. As a result, our nation's protectors and first responders now have secure, interoperable, and scalable communications without changing the way they naturally communicate with each other. Customers access their communication infrastructure using existing communications systems, protecting previous capital investments.

CoCo's patented technology (U.S. Pat. 7,624,165) has been used by the US Navy, US Coast Guard, US Air Force, SOCOM and has gone through extensive testing at the JITC DICE 2006, 2007 and our technology is FIPS 140-2 validated. CoCo Communications is headquartered in Seattle, Washington and also has offices in Laurel, Maryland. CoCo is working closely with local, state, and Federal public safety agencies to help solve interoperability once and for all and make our nation a safer, stronger America.

CoCo provides integration support for custom solution development that helps system integrators focus on solution delivery and not on network troubleshooting.
