About CoCo

CoCo Communications Corp. was founded in April 2002 after analyzing many well documented communications failures and shortcomings. CoCo invented a new communications protocol technology that solves many of the most critical challenges simultaneously including security, interoperability, and network capacity. As a result, our nation’s first responders—as well as public and private operators of critical infrastructures—can now have secure, interoperable, and scalable communications without changing the way they naturally communicate with each other.

CoCo’s flagship product is the CoCo™ Protocol. By leveraging the CoCo Protocol, CoCo’s diverse customers are able to achieve a new level of communications not previously possible. Additionally, CoCo has developed a service model that changes traditional thinking about interoperability capabilities, providing not only voice, but data and video communications as well. The software is independent of traditional infrastructure and capacity expansion can be performed as necessary. Customers access their communication infrastructure using existing communications systems, protecting previous capital investments.

CoCo’s product offerings are based on a patent-pending cryptographic overlay mesh protocol (COMP) that was architected by co-founder and distinguished engineer, Jeremy Bruestle, a leader in cryptographic and network protocols.

Headquartered in Seattle, Washington—with offices in Arlington, Virginia; and Dallas, Texas—CoCo’s current customers include the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Coast Guard, Dallas Love Field, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
