CoCo Communicator
CoCoŽ Communicator is a voice, video, and data softphone application designed for easy use on PDAs and PCs in any mobile or tactical environment.
CoCo Communicator automatically detects and communicates over self-organizing networks that protect user data according to US Government standards.
Versatile voice communications:
- Push-to-Talk (PTT) - PTT conferences with an unlimited number of participants
- Direct dialing - full duplex peer-to-peer calling
- Landline and wireless phones calls - a numeric keypad supports easy outbound dialing and the Communicator supports inbound calls
Powerful tactical networks and talk groups:
- Communicator tactical talk groups have no central points of failure
- Any number of tactical voice networks can be created. Individuals can switch from one tactical network to another and when a tactical team is split into smaller groups, the smaller groups maintain their communications
Integrated video monitoring and surveillance:
- Cameras on the network are listed and easily accessed with the touch of an icon
- Conferences and direct calls can continue while monitoring video for improved situational awareness
Ticker messages for group communications:
- View ticker messages published from CoCoŽ Interoperability Controller
- Ticker messages are color stamped for urgency and can be date stamped at the time of creation
Easy end user training:
- Simple UI is designed with large buttons for accurate selection on a touch-screen PDA, tablet, or other device
- Communicator UI is consistent across all platforms
