Outdoor Mesh Routers
CoCo® Outdoor Mesh Routers (OMR) are powered by CoCo® Node to form a self-organizing, self-healing mesh network that delivers a secure, globally scalable Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET).
Outdoor Mesh Routers can be used to build larger, stronger networks that communicate the way people do: directly, confidentially, and independently, even in the most difficult environments.
- Weatherproof design: Designed for rugged environmental operation, the OMR is built to withstand extreme temperatures, wind, and rain
- Outdoor coverage: High-powered radios and antennas provide secure, wireless, wide area coverage
- Seamless indoor/ outdoor handoff: Create a single, seamless wireless network inside and outside your facility that covers your entire campus
- Eliminate dark spots: CoCo enabled devices, such as laptops or PDA’s, also act as mesh routers, so the devices work with the OMR to expand coverage
- Instant coverage expansion: Coverage can be expanded by plugging in another OMR, and then the network will automatically configure itself to support the new device
- Wireless coverage: The OMR’s mesh capabilities means wireless traffic can be forwarded without the cost of running wire to every device location
- Video surveillance support: Each OMR has two Ethernet ports and can act as a forwarding device for a network camera and can be installed with just a wireless camera, an OMR, a data cable, and power for the two devices
